Within the 10th Berlin Biennale’s opening weekend, C& is presenting its print issue #9 titled You are already in it: Looking at a Global Diaspora. Besides offering a special on the 10th Berlin Biennale, the new edition includes a variety of contributions with questions (Identity – what’s in a word?), opinions (The prominence of African Americans in the arts sometimes tends to overshadow art made in Africa and by the Diaspora), and interviews with Gabi Ngcobo, Faith Ringgold, Julia Phillips, and Kelvin Haizel, among others. In the coming weeks the magazine will be available free of charge at the Berlin Biennale exhibition venues Akademie der Künste and KW Institute for Contemporary Art.
