The artist duo FAKA, consisting of Thato Ramaisa and Buyani Duma, are joining us from South Africa for the evening. Rectum River is a four-part healing sermon, comprised of live interpretations of sounds from their debut EP, BOTTOMS REVENGE.
The live performance will be followed by music from Argentinian producer Moro. Linking the two-hour boat ride with the slave ship ecosystem, from which most Afro-South-American rhythms were born, he will be blending rhythms and textures typical of the Ramba genre which premiered on his San Benito EP.
