A typical class consists of physical exercises, followed by deep relaxation and meditation. It will not only focus on the physical dimension of asanas (postures) but also on a range of breathing techniques (pranayama), concentration, and mantras. Each exercise series combines these elements in a way that facilitates the experience of a specific, energetic aspect (e.g. “to strengthen the aura,” “for the spine,” “stress elimination”).
