Friends

As a member of Friends, you will be granted exclusive and personal access to the KW Institute for Contemporary Art as well as to the Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art, whilst supporting two of the most renowned institutions for Contemporary Art in Berlin and worldwide. Friends are part of a network of enthusiastic art lovers, curators, artists and individuals with an interest in the arts and thereby contribute actively to the culturally multifaceted life of Berlin.

The KW Freunde e. V. was founded in 1996 with the aim of supporting the KUNST-WERKE BERLIN e. V. financially and ideationally. The purpose of the non-profit association is the continuous support of KW and the Berlin Biennale.

The Friends support the KW Institute for Contemporary Art and the Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art in a variety of ways, first and foremost through monetary donations and public relations. All donations, originating from the program and the membership fees, benefit in their entirety to the work of both institutions, its exhibition program, and the artists represented.
